What began as a tired and disconnected backyard behind a 1980s stucco home with worn finishes, patchy grass, and aging concrete, has been thoughtfully reimagined as a refined indoor and outdoor retreat.
A sculptural steel shade structure, designed and installed by The Guild, anchors the space and casts shifting patterns of light and shadow throughout the day. New floor to ceiling glass doors connect the interior to a composition of layered exterior spaces that includes custom steel planters, built-in seating, fire elements, and desert-adapted planting that softens the hardscape and adds texture. The result is a warm, modern backyard designed for everyday living and relaxed entertaining.
