Stevens Music Studio | ADU

Stevens Music Studio is a purpose-built ADU in Paradise Valley, designed and built by 180 Degrees as a dedicated space to write, record, and play. Set behind the main residence, the studio pairs mid-century desert-modern lines with the acoustic and technical demands of a working recording space.

Cedar-lined ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass open the live room to the Sonoran landscape, while deep overhangs manage the Arizona sun and keep the interior comfortable through the summer. Inside, warm wood, layered textiles, and considered sightlines create a room that performs acoustically and invites long sessions. A guitar gallery and vintage amp wall anchor the space, and a golden-hour patio extends the studio into the desert beyond.

As a single design-build team, 180 Degrees carried the project from first concept through final construction, coordinating the architecture, acoustics, and detailing so the finished ADU sounds as good as it feels.
