DBG | RAF Exhibit Gallery
The Desert Botanical Garden RAF Exhibit Gallery is designed as a quiet threshold between art, ecology, and the desert landscape. A series of perforated metal fins cast shifting patterns of light across the building’s crisp façades, creating a dynamic interplay between shadow and sun throughout the day. Vertical bronze accents further animate the exterior, giving depth and rhythm to the gallery’s minimalist form.
Surrounded by native planting and curated desert pathways, the building extends the Garden’s mission by offering visitors a contemplative place to slow down, observe, and connect. Inside and out, the gallery celebrates the textures, luminosity, and living beauty of the Sonoran Desert, inviting visitors to see the landscape in new and unexpected ways.
