Kiva Craft Center history:

Established in 1955, the Kiva Craft Center profoundly propelled Scottsdale, Arizona to become the national epicenter for original contemporary Southwestern arts, crafts, fashion, and modern-movement architectural design.
Native artist Lloyd Kiva’s innovative idea of experiential shopping helped transform Scottsdale’s pop-culture image from Old West cow town to sophisticated modern desert arts community.
