Ian Riggs, Associate AIA was born in Gainesville, Florida but grew up in Connecticut and later attended Arizona State University. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree in Political Science he found himself too entranced with the desert to leave. His involvement in architecture and construction began at a young age through his father's construction firm. His time in Arizona has been spent working on various commercial, educational and high end residential projects. He enjoys putting things together and watching an architectural project take form. Ian is a current AIA Metro Phoenix Associate Member. His proficiency lies in the digital realm of computers. Ian frequently works in AutoCad, Sketchup and Revit to help bring design ideas to life. His other interests include cooking with his wife, mountain biking, snow skiing and the occasional great debate. He loves to travel both locally and nationally, while always trying to find a new piece of vintage cast iron cookware.
